Allie and Tanner’s wedding is STILL making me smile, days later, and I’m so excited to share their amazing day with you!!

As I sit down to write about this day, I keep thinking, where do I even start? Do I tell you about how amazing Allie & Tanner are, with a genuine love for life and each other? Allie is gracious, caring, and I’m convinced she has a natural glow that follows her everywhere she goes. Tanner is funny, charismatic and has excellent taste in music. In fact, he hand-picked most of the music for their day, including their last song:  “I’m with you” by Vance Joy. It was a pretty perfect moment under the market lights, just the two of them.

I could tell you about how much these two are so loved by everyone in their lives. They had the most supportive wedding party, families and guests that just couldn’t wait to celebrate them. As photographers, we see the way people show up for a couple on their big day; how they will bend over backwards to make sure everything is as perfect as can be, and can’t help but tear up watching their big moments.

And I could really go on and on about how talented the vendors were that put this beautiful day together. I have to say, my favorite part of the day is feeling the real emotion between Allie and Tanner. They took the time to feel each moment, rather than just move through the motions. That’s my biggest piece of advice for anyone getting married. It’s a huge day with so many moving parts, and while I realize it’s important to keep on a timeline, it’s so important to really appreciate each moment and what it really means. Sometimes I think we miss this – and it’s natural since we live our everyday lives this way, but it’s so important.

So cheers to Allie & Tanner! I can’t wait to see what mountain you climb next, but I know you’ll share a beer at the top!
