Katie and Luke had a beautiful wedding day, despite Hurricane Matthew tearing through North Carolina. There were some family members that weren’t able to make it to Durham for the big day because of the storm, so Katie and Luke had a chance to get all dressed up again and celebrate in Winston Salem a few weeks later. This was perfect for us, because we were able to get out on Katie’s family’s beautiful land and take bride and groom portraits!

I love that Katie picked her family’s home for these pictures. There were so many lovely backdrops and everything had a meaning and a memory from her past.
