Thanks for stopping by the blog! I'm Whitney and my husband, Romain, and I are a wedding photography team based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. We are excited to share our recent work and a little peek into our lives!
I’m so excited to share one of my favorite engagement sessions to date!
Boy, oh boy, was this day hot! Kate and Jim (and Hands, their adorable pup) were troopers and rocked their session, even with the heat. We started with some romantic, sweeping city views of downtown Raleigh and then moved over to the fields behind the NC Museum of Art with some lovely golden light.
Jim had Kate constantly smiling and laughing and I loved how they were up for anything! There is a light between these two and the camera loved it! It was so great getting to know them and hearing about their love story. Jim proposed to Kate at a beautiful, romantic dinner he planned for her birthday at Second Empire that included a special “birthday” menu just for her. Little did she know, he had a lot more planned than that! He got down on one knee, she cried and the hostess took pictures of it all! Afterwards, they had a party with family and friends at City Club in downtown Raleigh. That sounds like something out of a classic movie to me!
We can’t wait until next May, when we get to capture their love story all over again when they tie the knot at the Church on Morgan and then party it up after at City Club. Congrats you two!
