I have a treat for you today! Maureen and Ryan tied the knot last Saturday at a beautiful, sunny outdoor ceremony at Pavilion at Carriage Farm. It was a wonderful day and it was so great to see everyone come together to celebrate these two. The whole day was so full of emotion, which is one of the best things about being a wedding photographer. It’s such an honor to capture such a special and important time in our couples lives!

One of my favorites things about this day were all the little touches that truly made it so special! Just minutes before the ceremony, we heard Maureen and her bridesmaids all cheer from upstairs. Then, a few minutes later, Ryan and the groomsmen were singing “Forever and forever amen”, loudly from their room, which also happened to be the song that Maureen’s mother and father danced to at their wedding! Those are the little moments that really make weddings so special.

Ryan just opened a microbrewery in Mount Olive called R&R Brewing and they served their beer on tap at the reception, which I think is so cool! As if the party wasn’t rocking enough, Sammy C. Hawk from UNC Wilmington showed up and surprised the bride and groom and all their guests!
