This engagement session was a COLD one, but I really soaked up every moment with these two lovebirds!! Tate & Justin have this sort of chemistry that reminds me of one of those super dreamy, whirlwind romances that you see in a movie or read about in a good book. It’s a love that can’t be denied and the camera LOVES it, which makes my photographer heart happy. More than that, I just genuinely connected with Tate from our first coffee date!  We discovered that Tate’s cousin is my good friend’s Kelly’s husband, Josh, so that is a small world! We will get to see them at the wedding, which is so exciting!

At the engagement session, I learned that Justin and I both are Air Force brats that moved around a lot and both lived on the same base in Germany when we were younger. I wonder if our paths ever crossed! I say this every time, but I just love an engagement session because it’s a more relaxed, slow-paced time for us to get to know our couples and learn all about their love stories!

I love how many connections we have with these two and I know that their wedding will be one for the books! We can’t wait to celebrate with them this summer in Virginia!
