This session was so dreamy and let my creative heart sing! It was the kind of photography session that I didn’t know I needed. I love these moments that bring me back to my love of being creative and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. It obviously really helped that I had Jess & Alec to photograph, because they were picture perfect and so much fun to work with!

Jess reached out to me last year about doing this anniversary session and I was delighted to find out that she is also a photographer! Always an honor to photograph a fellow creative. This was also my first time at Joyner Park in Wake Forest and I thought it was really charming! Lots of fun photography opportunities and spots to explore. I also had a lot of time to walk around and get to know these two, learning about their recent move to the area and their kitty cats. Connecting with people is one of the best perks of being a portrait photographer.
