I think it’s impossible to hear the word elopement without thinking about romance. Maybe it’s because eloping takes all of the frills of planning a big day away and focuses on the most important part; marrying your best friend. That’s exactly what this day was – fun and romantic! Jessica and Mike tied the knot in a ceremony at the Durham County Courthouse on a sunny, Wednesday afternoon with their close friends and family. Then they spent a little time exploring American Tobacco Campus, getting ice cream cones at The Parlour and ended the evening with a fancy dinner out with friend and family to celebrate. Sounds like a lovely afternoon to me! 🙂

It was a beautiful day full of love and I was truly honored to capture it! It was made even better by the fact that Romain’s sister, Pauline, was there as Jessica’s witness/MOH, so I was able to spend the afternoon with her as well! It was so special to see how excited she was for her friends to tie the knot!
