Elizabeth & Adam Engagement | Downtown Raleigh | Lake Johnson

I knew I would hit it off with Liz and Adam as soon as I heard their story. I always ask a series of questions right off the bat whenever we get a wedding inquiry, because it’s really important that we all jive together. Your photographer spends the whole wedding day with you, so you want to make sure it’s a great fit and it’s exactly the same for the photographer. I want to make sure I’m surrounding myself with people that bring me joy!

This is what Liz sent me when I asked them how they met:

“Adam and I met when he moved in down the street (literally, he moved into the same block of townhouses). We became friends very quickly. He ended up adopting a puppy I was fostering, Lana, and when he’d let her out in the morning, she would always run up to my door and whine to be let in. She was clearly very proud of herself when we finally started dating. 🙂 We now have a second pup, Kiwi, who we fostered for nearly a year before we realized that we were never going to be able to give her up.”

This is probably one of my favorite stories to date! It sounds like something out of a movie! I’m so excited that I get to document this next phase of their story. They are tying the knot at the Cannon Room atop of downtown Raleigh in July and I know it’s going to be amazing. Liz has a very specific design theme in mind and I know it’s going to be amazing.

Cheers to these two!
