Can you believe this engagement session started with rain? We ended up hiding in the trees at Dorothea Dix Park in between the rain. Then by some miracle, the rain clouds swept away and left us with a cool, overcast evening to explore around downtown.

Kristen and Nick have known each other since they were 16!! They both moved to Raleigh to last year to open Wegmen’s 100th store, bought a house and rescued the cutest pup from Saving Grace, Riley! I can’t believe what a good girl she was during the shoot. She actually smiled at the camera so much!

I said this previously in my Instagram post, but Kristen and Nick are the type of couple that reaches out and I cross my fingers that they want to work with me. I could tell instantly that Kristen is gracious and kind and their engagement session proved me right. I am so thrilled to be the one to tell their story at the Pinehurst Resort next May!
