I’m so excited to share Kristin & David’s beautiful, colorful wedding day with you!

If you haven’t been to Melrose Knitting Mill, it has the most beautiful natural light that streams in through all of the big, open windows and the exposed brick is the perfect industrial touch. It was really showing off on Sunday, especially with all of the amazing colors, flowers and decor. I know that a lot of work went into this day and it was so amazing to be the one to capture it. And I have to say, I know every wedding reception is a party, but Kristin and David’s reception seemed to be one step above. The live band  and dancing literally had the floor shaking!

I’m so obsessed with the shot that Romain captured of Kristin right before she walked down the aisle because it shows her true anticipation and emotion. Those are my favorite things to capture during a wedding day. The posed portraits are gorgeous, but there is something about capturing an authentic moment that really just makes my heart sing. There’s also something so magical when the bride and groom are walking back down the aisle – true, authentic, golden happiness.

Congratulations to Kristin and David! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and Carolina Hurricane games together!
