Today is Allison’s birthday, and if anyone knows Allison, they know that birthdays are a huge deal to her. She also has a knack for remembering your birthday forever after learning it once. It’s a crazy fun talent and something I’ve always loved about her. So in honor of her birthday, I’m posting this blog about the day Russell proposed to her! Happy Birthday Allie Bee!

My best friend Julia and I were at our friend’s lovely wedding when Russell told us he was planning to propose to Allison soon and asked if we could help get her out to Pullen Park so he could surprise her by popping the question. Pullen Park was where the two had their first date; how romantic! We were naturally very excited and immediately came up with a cover story that Julia needed Allison’s help with her Christmas photoshoot with her corgi pups at the park. We showed up to the park and stalked them as they moseyed around and we tried to stay hidden until he popped the question. It was such a beautiful day and such a lovely thing to witness! She was so happy and surprised!

I couldn’t be happier for these two! They are a perfect fit and I know they will live happily ever after with a lot of kitty cats. 🙂  Congrats guys!!
