Katy and Drew’s wedding day was truly a day of joy. There was so much love and support for the two of them throughout the whole day. I’ve never seen so many smiles! When I think about their wedding, I just picture Katy and Drew throwing back their heads laughing, because that’s how they spent most of their day. They focused on the important things and let all the other worries just slide off their backs.

I’ll also never forget their first look! Drew cried before he even turned around to see her and you could just feel the emotion radiating off of these two. Drew later told us that his late grandpa told him that there are three things a man should always have on him: his wallet, a pocket knife and a handkerchief. I saw him use that handkerchief quite a few times throughout the day, so I’d say it was pretty sound advice. Their first look was followed by a beautiful ceremony, a gorgeous sunset, a delicious dinner and then a huge dance party. What more could you ask for?! The venue was amazing and had the best food! You guys know that we’re a big fan of that. When they first met, Katy and Drew bonded over the great outdoors, so it’s only fitting that their ceremony and reception be outside, on this beautiful farm!

It was such an honor to capture this day full of love. We wish you so many years of happiness, Katy and Drew! Hope you’re having the best time in Ocracoke! I’ve been stalking you on social media, so I’m pretty sure you’re having a blast! 🙂
