Mercedes and I have known each other for about a decade now, which makes me feel so old, but is also pretty cool! We worked together back in the good old days at Dicks Sporting Goods, which if you have never worked retail, let me tell you, it really brings a special bond between coworkers. It’s a bond that is probably only matched by people who wait tables. It takes a special kind of patience. 😉

Mercedes and Taylor have been together for about 10 years now (!!), so I know they are so excited to tie the knot in October! Taylor seems to have a way of making Mercedes laugh and light up like no one else. I’m also still obsessed with her flowy, yellow dress! Taylor popped the question in front of the big fountain in downtown Cary, which made this location perfect for their engagement session. I’m a sucker for sentimental touches like this! Downtown Cary really has a lot of charm and from what we hear, has a lot of new things in the works.

I’m so excited for these two and can’t wait to celebrate them again this fall! Fingers crossed for a little cooler weather then! 😉
