If you’ve ever been on the fence about doing a sunrise session, this fall, downtown Raleigh session just might change your mind and convince you to wake up early for your photos! I know, I know, but hear me out! There is something so magical and lovely about morning light. It’s like when you actually wake up to see a beautiful sunrise and it makes you feel like you’re in on a beautiful secret with the world. This session was one of those sessions that really let my creativity sing and made my heart oh so happy. The rich fall colors really made it sing. I also really love the foggy effect the morning had on this view of downtown Raleigh, which was really showing off if you ask me!

I was so, so excited when Aimee reached out to me to do a session because she is a photographer herself and she is so talented! Make sure you head over and check her out on Instagram! I love all of her work with her amazing high school seniors! It’s almost a little nerve-racking to photograph another photographer because we all see the world so differently through our camera lenses. These two made such amazing models and gave me so much goodness to work with! I also just loved getting to know them, which is just one of the amazing perks of this job. I’ll be forever grateful that the Radics trusted me to capture their memories! Plus, how cute are their doggos?! 🙂 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it always – I love a session with some cute dogs!
